First of all lets start with Laura Coleman, her retro wedding day took the bridal world by storm, every blogger wanted a piece of her wedding day story and you can see why!  This beautiful 1950s style wedding dress – Elizabeth – looked spectacular the orange sash and shoes fitted in with the theme for the bridesmaids, men’s outfits and even the cup cakes!  This less is more wedding dress looked simply beautiful and really suited the day. If you are thinking of a theme for your wedding then we have got some great ideas for you. Our bride Emma married Sam wearing a short wedding dress to row down the river Thames. She wore a Timeless Chic tea length wedding dress.

Jessica and Daniel married with a riot of colour and their theme was perfectly coordinated. The bride wore Tiana by Rita Mae and looked very much the wonderland dream.

Emma married Graeme at Pembroke Lodge in Richmond Park and although it was summer, the couple encountered a bit of rain. She wore one of our Timeless Chic exclusive wedding gowns. A short wedding dress is perfect for the ever changing British weather and fits well in a city or country setting as you can see. This beautiful wedding gown is so versatile which makes it such a favourite with our brides.

Home or Away

These brides are bringing short wedding dresses to life here in the UK and at their destination weddings. First up is a city wedding that features a little bit of Dutch, with Sanne and Gjis-Jan. The couple were featured in the Evening Standard Brides book. Sanne even got to dance in Piccadilly Circus with her groom.

For a relaxed and sunny vibe an overseas wedding in the sunshine is a must. The gorgeous Trisca married Paul in Paphos, Cyprus were the sunshine was guaranteed for their special day. She chose to wear Emily by Rita Mae and swapped her heels for flats to compliment the sunshine.
