Short White Wedding Dress

Katie and Karl got married in July in Weybridge at the famous Brooklands Museum which is a heritage motor and aviation museum. The bride chose a beautiful short white wedding dress with a stunning back detail. Knowing her individual style really helped when she came to making a decision on what dress to choose. The couples outfits fitted with the retro vibe of their venue and images were captured by Loveheart Photography.

Short White Wedding Dress

Katie already knew that tea length wedding dresses suited her silhouette so she booked her consultation. After trying a selection of designer wedding dresses Katie chose a beautiful lace and tulle style. The short white wedding dress features a delicately beaded lace bodice and full fifties style tulle skirt. The lace straps sit just off the shoulder and compliment the sweetheart neckline. Katie chose a jeweled belt to add extra sparkle to her tea length wedding dress.

The back of the dress has a stunning lace keyhole detail with a necklace and adds to the wow factor. The tulle skirt adds a light softness to the overall look and enhances the retro feel. 

I knew as soon as Karl proposed in November 2020 that I wanted a short wedding dress as the style suits my figure

Katie chose pale blue petticoats that gave extra fullness to the skirt and peeked out every time she moved. Wearing a retro wedding gown allowed Katie to show off her gorgeous shoes which were peep toe heels with a splash of blue detail.

Wedding Day 

Katie wore her hair up and carried a white rose and blue hydrangea bouquet. In the evening she changed into some wedding converse so she could dance the night away.

I liked that the dress suited the venue too, it had a real retro vibe and everyone loved that.

Karl chose a classic blue tweed three piece suit and wore burnished toe brogues. He wore a single rose buttonhole to compliment his bride.

We had the best day ever and my dress made me feel like a million dollars
