Rain On Your Wedding Day
What if it rains on you Wedding Day?
Well if you are wearing a short wedding dress then the best thing to do is grab a brolly and get out there. In some places in the world its considered the best of luck if you get rain on your wedding day. It symbolizes fertility and cleansing and plus it makes for some great wedding photographs as shown here. Our bride even colour coordinated her brollies to match the bridesmaids gowns and pashminas.
Why you should wear a short wedding dress in the rain
Becky and Charlie got married at Farnham Castle, which is an award winning venue in Surrey, this Easter. Becky wore Eva tea length gown- Brighton Belle by True Bride and their wedding day was captured by Paul Joseph Photography who kindly shared these stunning images with us.
“I knew I wanted tea length, sparkle free.”
Wearing a short wedding dress also means you can really embrace the day whatever the weather. There will be no hem dragging in the rain and like Becky, you can wear a jacket to change your look instantly. You can get outside and get some really great photographs too which makes the day more memorable.
“I loved every single dress I tried on, not the experience I had in other stores.”
Eva is such a romantic option when choosing a tea length wedding dress. This vintage 1950’s style dress has a stunning lace v-neckline and full tulle skirt. A gorgeous satin bow and belt complete the look and the zip back is finished with buttons to give it a real vintage feel.
“My wedding day was everything I had ever wanted and more. I got to marry the love of my life in front of everyone I love, feeling the most beautiful I have ever felt.”
