Our Real Brides – Wedding bouquets
Wedding flowers set the theme for the whole day and what you choose will depend on many factors. You will need to think how they work in the venue you’ve chosen and what you want for your overall theme. We thought we’d share with you some of our real brides bouquets for some gorgeous wedding inspiration. As well as having a bespoke wedding dress each of our brides has a unique take on what flowers feature. There is something for every bride and we hope you get some inspiration from our real brides.
Bright and Beautiful
You don’t always have to have fresh flowers in your bouquet, our real bride Helena had a wonderful bright bouquet. Using a mixture of buttons and feathers, its texture and boldness compliments her tea length wedding dress beautifully. This wedding bouquet is something that the bride can keep for years to come or even pass down to the next generation to keep. Look at those colours pop in the photographs too.
Theme Your Flowers
We recently featured the bright and magical wedding of Jessica and Daniel – Alice in Wonderland Theme. Jessica’s flowers complimented her bridesmaids dresses and look simply stunning in the wedding photographs. Her bridesmaids mainly white flowers compliment Jessica’s gorgeous dress perfectly, Tiana by Rita Mae and it creates a brilliant riot of colour throughout.
Another of our brides, Emma, had a pretty pastel spring theme for her wedding, she used Gypsophila to create a whimsical vibe. Emma had a classic rose bouquet and complimented this with her bridesmaids simple bouquets. The contrast is magical and pleasing on the eye. Find out more about her wedding day and beautiful short wedding dress Alana by Rita Mae on the blog.
Make a Statement
Oriana and Michael’s wedding day looks so magical and the images were captured by Michael Maurer Weddings. Oriana wore Tessa by Lou Lou Bridal and the deep v back showed off her amazing tattoos. They used flowers and candles to dress their intimate wedding venue. Oriana’s hand tied bouquet had long ribbons that made the flowers into a real feature.
Seasonal Flowers
It’s always best to work with seasonal flowers if possible, as the flowers will be in peak condition and it also cuts down the expense of shipping out of season flowers in. Remember to put the bouquets in water before the ceremony if possible and afterwards to preserve the wonderful blooms for as long as possible.
Louise wore the gorgeous tea length dress ‘Rosie’ Brighton Belle by True Bride and kept her flowers simple and elegant with timeless roses. The colours helped create the glamorous feel to the day and the grooms bright button hole works well.
