Second Time Bride in Short Wedding Dress
Peter and Keeley got married in August in the stunning setting of Stapleford Park near Melton Mowbray. Their two day intimate wedding affair was filled with fun laughter and champagne.

As a more mature bride who knew exactly what she wanted for her wedding day, Keeley had picked a few short wedding dresses from the website. On the day of her appointment she tried on three tea length wedding dresses and chose Abbie with Sybille jacket by Loulou Bridal.
I was made to feel welcome at all times, almost like a friend, but still everything was dealt with very professionally.
Abbie is a silk tea length wedding dress with a pretty corded lace jacket fastening with a beaded pearl clasp. This is a very versatile wedding dress that can be changed instantly when the jacket is removed. The beautiful lace jacket is a little longer than the satin wedding dress which creates a wonderful contrast.
Being an older “second time around” bride, I knew I wanted a short dress with either a 50’s or old Hollywood vibe.
Keeley wore a pair of stunning red Jimmy Choo shoes and carried a bright red rose bouquet. Her hair was scooped up which highlighted the lace detail around her neck of the pretty jacket. Peter wore a dark suit and had a red rose buttonhole to compliment his new bride.
Wedding Day Details
The couple had a small intimate wedding day and everyone arrived the day before for an informal dinner. Guests had to pick a number to find out their seats, even the bride and groom. As a result this allowed everyone to mix and get to know each other better. The next morning they all had breakfast together before getting ready.
We had the most amazing two day’s celebrating. It was absolutely fabulous, so many laughs….and a little too much champagne!!!
