Ballerina Lace Wedding Dress

Today we want to share a chilled wedding vibe of Louise and Ben’s wedding day. Having had to postpone three times they finally tied the knot in September this year. The venue they chose was Mansion house in Tunbridge Wells followed by a reception at The Flying Dutchman in Hildenborough. Louise chose a stunning ballerina length lace wedding dress and we’ve got all the details below.

Ballerina Lace Wedding Dress

As many of our brides do, Louise had already had a look online and chosen the styles she liked from the website. We had them ready for Louise to try as soon as she arrived at the boutique and even suggested some more she might like to try. She was a little nervous to come to us as she has a permanent ileostomy bag and was worrying about the boutique possibly refusing to serve her. But she needn’t have worried as we make sure that all our brides are relaxed and happy at their appointment.

[Suzanne] put me so much at ease and even suggested the right dress for me after I had tried 3 to no avail.

Louise wanted a beautiful classic design with simple lines and no extra fuss. She chose Talia by Lois Wild which is a very elegant calf length wedding gown.  Made in Mikado fabric, with lace detail around the waistline it moves beautifully and has a deep v neckline.

Best friend and Maid of Honour Katie, was dressed in pretty pink and also in charge of hair and make up. She was absolutely amazing, getting 4 adult women and 3 girls ready was no easy feat given she was 8 months pregnant at the time.

My mum had also previously purchased her dress from you and I fell in love with the tea length designs.

Wedding Day Details

Louise wore a pair of satin heels that peeked out as she walked down the aisle. Her bouquet was a stunning mix of pink and cream roses and she wore her hair loose with a sparkly headband. Ben wore a grey three piece suit and pink tie, his buttonhole was a single pink rose.

The experience was absolutely amazing, I couldn’t fault it.

The couple wanted a chilled out vibe to their day, which they achieved. Their photographer, Simon Hawkins photography, blended in so well taking all the images. All the friends and family were together in a less formal setting and it made the day. Louise and Paul got lots of compliments on how chilled the reception was.
