A Themed Wedding Day & Vintage Inspired Short Wedding Gown
Mark and Amy got married in April last year at St Augustines, Westgate on Sea. As it was Easter, they chose a themed wedding day and Amy wore a Vintage Inspired Short Wedding Gown. Their beautiful images were captured by Ted Munns.
I’m not a girly girl and hate all the fuss and Cutting Edge brides were just so good at putting me at ease and not being too pushy or in my face.
Vintage Inspired Short Wedding Gown
Amy already knew she wanted something unique and vintage inspired on her wedding day so had found Cutting Edge Brides online. She doesn’t like lots of fuss but knew she wanted to feel special on her wedding day. So we spent some time looking at short wedding dresses to make sure she took home the perfect one for her.
You really helped me find the perfect dress and made me feel ultra bridal!
Amy chose Sara in the Brighton Belle collection from True Bride which is a pretty tulle tea length wedding dress. It has a plunge v-neck bodice and tulle capped sleeves bejewelled with vintage style beading. The tulle skirt is light and floaty which was perfect for the couples themed wedding day. She chose a ballerina length which just skimmed her ankles and showed off her shoes.
I absolutely loved my dress and my experience with you guys was fab.
Wedding Day Details
Amy wore her hair whimsically tied in a bun with a short veil and had a beautiful pair of Irregular Choice shoes that could be shown perfectly by her short wedding gown. Her flowers were a beautiful bouquet of pink roses and spring blooms and she wore lace finger-less gloves to finish off her look.
Mark wore a navy three piece suit and grey top hat and his button hole was a single rose.
My experience of cutting edge brides was brilliant. I felt extremely looked after and everyone was so friendly.
The couples fun Bunny theme was embraced by all the wedding party, with bridesmaid even wearing bunny ears. Amy’s shoes had Thumper on as she is also a huge Disney fan too. They also had Snorlax and Jigglypuff from pokemon dressed as a bride and groom on the wedding cake.
Our wedding was just absolutely 100% us, we had a bunny theme as it was Easter and everything was bunny inspired my bridesmaids even wore ears!
Amy found that she felt relaxed and happy on her wedding day because her dress was perfect. It allowed her to move freely and even dance the night away without carrying around a heavy wedding gown.
I felt amazing in my short dress, it had the wow factor and I could dance all night without tripping over the bottom of my dress!
