A Tea Length Pink Wedding Gown for a Pregnant Bride

Emma and James got married at the beautiful Cooling Castle Barn in the November sunshine. The wedding ceremony and reception were held at the one venue. Emma was 38 weeks pregnant when she married James and she wore a beautiful tea length pink wedding gown. The stunning images the couple shared with us were captured by Imogen-Ray Photography.

Tea Length Pink Wedding Gown

Emma knew she wanted a dress that was comfortable, one that she could move around in with ease. She visited our Bexley Wedding Boutique with no set ideas on what she really wanted. She was open to trying on a variety of short wedding gowns for our large range of designers.

At the appointment the bride can try on as many tea length wedding dresses as she wants. This way so that she can really find one that feels right for her day.

I had no idea what type of dress I wanted when I found Cutting Edge Brides. As soon as I saw their dresses I fell in love!

The dress that Emma chose was Poppy from House of Mooshki which is a beautiful tea length pink wedding gown. The soft blush short wedding gown was covered with intricate applique lace and had a full tulle 1950s style skirt.

A Pregnant Bride

Emma had a special reason for wanting a dress that was beautiful and comfortable, as she was 38 weeks pregnant. The beautiful tulle allowed for comfort as it flowed over her baby bump and allowed movement during the day.

The staff in the shop are amazing so knowledgeable and friendly. They let me try on as many dresses as I wanted and were always at the end of the phone or an email away

The illusion neckline and cap sleeves finished the dress off beautifully and gave structure to the bodice. Emma wore her hair up in a bun and kept her look simple and elegant with pretty jewellery. She wore a pair of high top trainers with her pink wedding gown and she was comfortable all day long.

I loved wearing a shorter style of dress as I am only 5ft tall I felt that longer styles drowned me in excess material

The Wedding Details

James wore a light grey suit and a pink bow tie that matched Emma’s pink wedding dress. He had a white rose button hole, a pocket watch and wore tan shoes to finish his look.

The couple had a relaxed and happy wedding day. Their baby girl, Eliza, was born 8 days after the wedding so this made it an even more memorable time.

The staff and the seamstress where amazing and made sure my dress was perfect on the day, Our baby girl Eliza was born 8 days after our wedding.
