As our tea length wedding dresses are fantastic to dance in and spin, lots of our brides choose to wear flats. Over 70% said they would choose to dance the night away in flats. We were delighted to find out that a fantastic 64% or our lovely brides to be feel calm and don’t have wedding overwhelm. We’ve written before on the blog about planning your wedding and how to go about it. Setting and sticking to a wedding budget can be hard and 73% of our community found the cost of things shocking. But a cool 87% or you said you had it all under control and were ready.

It’s traditional to have bridesmaids and groomsmen on your wedding day, but 70% or our brides said they are opting to go it alone. Those having bridesmaids said they were choosing the dresses on behalf of their bridesmaids (78%).

When it comes to wedding colours and themes, 64% were sure they knew what colours to go for and just over half didn’t have a set theme for their day. As for the wedding dance, 12% admitted they’d chosen to do a choreographed dance with their wedding party.

Traditionally the bride doesn’t give a wedding speech but our fantastic bunch are bucking that trend. 64% or the brides who voted said they would be giving a speech. If you are wearing a vintage style wedding dress it’s a great way to show it off.

Finally if you are wondering if couples still give guests favours on the big day, the answer is yes with 86% or us keeping up this tradition.
