When you think of a City wedding it usually involves hustle and bustle. It’s the perfect occasion to wear a short vintage style wedding gown. We were sent the lovely photographs from Sara and Luca’s wedding day. Their intimate wedding in the heart of London felt classical and stunning.
The couple wed in St. Sebastian and St. Pancras Roman Catholic Church, Kingsbury. It was an early December, a crisp winter wedding day. The reception was held in the historic hotel ‘The Goring’ in Belgravia, London. With such luxurious surroundings of the Garden room, Sara’s tea length wedding dress lived up to the grandeur perfectly, with its sleek and elegant silhouette.
People staying at The Goring Hotel stopped me, including international guests, saying they had never seen a bride so elegant in such a stunning dress reminding them of an Audrey Hepburn look.
Stunning Short Vintage Style Wedding Gown
Sara chose the gorgeous Polly by Timeless Chic with a satin full skirt and sleeves. This is such a beautiful and classic short vintage style wedding gown. Alterations were lined up to be made by Luca’s mother whom is a seamstress. When the dress arrived Sara found no alterations were needed and fitted perfectly on her petite frame.
Nothing needed altering. Incredible experience. The attention to detail was overwhelming.
Sara received compliments from the moment she put the dress on. She wasn’t expecting the way she’d feel on the day. There was even a time she wasn’t sure that she’d find a dress that could make her feel so special.
I never thought I would feel the way I did – I felt so so elegant. Everybody commented
Sara knew what type of dress she wanted but had trouble initially finding it. Her sister and cousin came to the rescue and recommended Cutting Edge Brides website. Her flowers were gorgeous cream and yellow roses and Luca had a single rose button hole. His three piece lounge suit was charcoal grey with a complimentary pink and grey tie and pocket square.
