Cutting Edge Brides has built up over the last eight years when I identified a need for an alternative to traditional wedding dresses. I set up the wedding boutique in Bexley to cater for women who wanted something a little different. The boutique has grown over the years and we have welcomed so many brides to be through our doors. Cutting Edge Brides is the UK’s leading short wedding dress boutique. We have over 100 styles of retro wedding dresses so there is something for everyone.
Bella by LouLou is a pretty tea length wedding dress that is flattering and comes in a variety of colours. This British designer creates stunning vintage inspired bridal gowns.
Curvier Shapes
I quickly realised that there was a need for plus size designs in store. We now have over 30 styles in size 18 to 28 UK and feel that it’s important that a bride can try a dress on in their size. This is still unusual in traditional boutiques. The gorgeous 1950s style tea length wedding dresses are very flattering for all shapes and adding petticoats adds a real wow factor.

Older Brides
Mature brides shouldn’t have to compromise on their wedding outfit. Our handpicked designer styles compliment all brides and are age appropriate and very elegant. We feel that age must not be an obstacle in finding the perfect short wedding dress. A bride shouldn’t have to settle for a two piece outfit purely because they aren’t a certain age bracket.

We love meeting every bride that walks through the door and pride ourselves on customer service. Every bride should feel special and we concentrate on her needs within the appointment. The appointment is one to one and the bride can try as many dresses as she likes. Listening to a brides needs is necessary and offering advice to make sure their wedding dress matches their ideal perfect day.
