A Bespoke Tea Length Wedding Dress
When we first saw the photographs of Carla and Kristian’s wedding over on Instagram, we couldn’t wait to share. The couple had a relaxed weekend wedding extravaganza in beautiful Looe, Cornwall in September this year. Kilminorth Cottages hosted them in the countryside, hidden away among rolling hills. Their stunning day was captured by Stewart Girvan Photography based in Cornwall. Carla came to us to find her perfect wedding dress and she created a totally bespoke tea length wedding dress.
Carla chose the stunning Rosie by True Bride which is a tea length wedding dress and had it custom made into a longer gown (we don’t stock it in a longer length). On her first visit she wasn’t sure what type of dress to go for so we worked with her to find out her likes and dislike. The dress she chose is a stylish and versatile short wedding dress that is full of beautiful details.
Rosie is a stunning tea length wedding dress with a lace detail that flows onto the full 1950s style skirt. The sweetheart neckline is covered in lace as are the sleeves and a neat satin sash and bow sit at the waist. The back is button through all the way to the neck and has an easy to fasten zip closure.

The couples celebrations began with a BBQ on the Friday evening where family and friends gathered for a relaxed evening. They had an outdoor ceremony the next day at 3pm followed by a reception in a beautiful marquee in a meadow which had a relaxed country feel.
Carla had to relocate overseas in the run up to her wedding so all fittings were fitted around her return trips to the UK. Every bride-to-be receives a friendly, personal and very laid back personal appointment at our boutique. No other customers are present at the appointment and our time is dedicated to the bride. As Rosie is a tea length wedding dress, Carla’s dress was custom made bespoke and its a service we offer for many of our bridal gowns.
