TERMS AND CONDITIONS - Please read carefully before ordering

ORDERING A NEW DRESS Once you have tried on a sample, you will either be given the choice of ordering your new gown in a whole size or a custom made size (custom made dresses may come with a surcharge) Delivery of your new dress can take between 12 and 20 weeks depending on the time of year and designer you have chosen.   It's not unusual (if you have ordered your dress quite late in the day) to have your alterations finished with just days left till your wedding day.  So I urge brides to be in this scenario not to panic but be flexible with fittings.

DEPOSIT 50% of total cost for your wedding dress must be made when you place your order. 

FINAL 50% PAYMENT FOR YOUR WEDDING DRESS. Brides must collect their dress (or have final fitting before they see a seamstress) and make final payment within 2 weeks of us receiving delivery of new gown.  If you are unable to collect within two week time frame you will still have to pay remainder of balance for your dress within the 2 weeks.  We are happy to hold dress for up to 4 weeks for your convenience.  In exceptional circumstances we may offer to hold longer for you providing your dress has been paid in full. If your dress needs alterations we will hold your dress for as long as it takes to complete all alterations for your dress. Alterations are charged separately and go directly to our seamstresses.

We are happy to deliver a new wedding dress in a box with tissue paper to your home but payment will need to be made in full before delivery and in some cases a a surcharge of £30 will be added to final payment to cover cost of delivery/bridal box/breathable fabric gown cover.


We offer a full alterations service to our customers.  We have 2 seamstresses working with us who we can highly recommend.  We offer our customers a fitting with our seamstresses where-by a quote of alterations work will be given, it's then up to the customer to decide whether to use our recommended seamstresses or find alternative alterations service else-where.  If you live far away you may prefer to take you dress to be altered near to where you live.

Appointment times given for alterations are half hour slots.  If there is a lot of alteration work to be discussed, ie jacket, hand made accessories etc we can offer longer appointments.  Monday Tuesday and Wednesday are our usual seamstress working days.  Our seamstresses prefer to work to a four week lead time, however they appreciate that in some cases tight deadlines are needed so they will complete work if they can within a day or two.

Dress alteration fees - 50% of alteration charge must be paid to our seamstress in cash or via bank transfer on day of first fitting and remainder 50% on second fitting

Cancellation Of Your Wedding

In the unfortunate event of you having to cancel your wedding, deposits will be lost and full payment for wedding dress must be made and should be collected as soon as it's possible for you do do so.  (Sale of Goods Act 1979)  We appreciate how upsetting it is for anyone who has to cancel their wedding and if we can help sell your dress on to another customer for an agreed price to ease your burden we will.
