Our Real Brides of the Year wearing Tea Length Wedding Dresses
Our Real Brides
We welcome hundreds of brides every year into our short wedding dress boutique. The brides arrive and some know what they want and others need a little help. Here are just some of our real brides and their wedding days we have featured this year. We have a wide selection of tea length wedding dresses for every bride whatever the wedding and here are a few from this year.
City Bride
We started the year with a city wedding in London. Sanne had visited our website and knew already she’d find her perfect dress. The bride wore Elizabeth by Timeless Chic. A 1950s short strapless wedding dress with a sweetheart neckline.
The couple married in the heart of the city, made a quick detour through the streets of London, had a first dance. The celebrations continued into the night at Balls Brothers.
Destination Bride
Trisca and Paul married in Cypress but when she arrived with us she didn’t know what sort of dress she wanted. For her beautiful overseas wedding, Trisca chose Emily by Rita Mae. A stunning Gold Embroidered Lace 1950/60s Vintage Inspired Tea Length Short Wedding Dress.
Big Wedding
Louise and Matt married in a Grade II listed mansion set in acres of parkland situated in Kent. Louise knew she wanted old Hollywood glamour and what shape dress would suite her. The bride wore the gorgeous tea length dress ‘Rosie’ Brighton Belle by True Bride. With its full 1950s style skirt and beautiful lace detail this is a stylish wedding dress. It has a satin sash and bow that sits at the waist.
Small intimate Wedding
Shelley and Danny married at Carnglaze Caverns in Cornwall. They chose an intimate wedding venue. Shelley knew she wanted a 1950s style tea length wedding dress. Her dress was the beautiful Bella from Lou Lou Bridal which is a favourite with our brides. The wedding dress is a vintage inspired tea length with ivory lace over a pale blue dress.
Dress Alterations
Oriana and Michael’s wedding day looks so magical in the Lost Village of Dode in Kent. Oriana wore Tessa by Lou Lou Bridal and the deep v back showed off her amazing tattoos. She needed some special last minute alterations to her dress and we were happy to help.
A Rustic Wedding
Markella and Jonathan wanted a fun and colourful celebration with lots of handmade touches, a real rustic wedding. They held their wedding at The Milling Barn in Hertfordshire. The dress she chose was the gorgeous and ultra feminine Molly Mae 1950s vintage style wedding dress by True Bride. It’s a beautiful tea length wedding dress with a 1950s retro edge.
Theme Wedding
Jessica and Daniel married in early May and their theme transferred into the colours they chose for bridesmaids right through to the cake. The couple chose an Alice in Wonderland theme for their day. Their wedding ceremony and reception was held at Darenth Valley Golf Course, Sevenoaks. For this gorgeous themed wedding day Jessica wore Tiana by Rita Mae which has a Tulle and Lace Sparkly Skirt that is striking and feminine.
Spring Wedding
Emma and Ashley married in St Michaels Manor Hotel in St Albans. It is a wonderful country style manor hotel set in five acres of gardens. This was the perfect backdrop for the couples spring wedding.
Emma wore the beautiful short wedding dress Alana by Rita Mae which is a Tea Length Mikado and Pearl Wedding Gown. It has a classic rounded bateau neckline which is simple, stylish and elegant.
A Rural Wedding
Amanda and Peter married in May this year in Maenclochog, a village in Pembrokeshire, south-west Wales. Amanda travelled all the way from Wales to find her perfect tea length short wedding dress. She chose the beautiful Scarlett by Timeless Chic for her day. Timeless Chic are our own exquisite in house collection of vintage inspired short & tea length bridal gowns.
Retro Wedding
Jemma and Jamie married earlier this year at the Weald of Kent golf course in Headcorn. It’s a stunning location amongst the rolling hills of the Kent countryside, just gorgeous for a wedding. Jemma wore Eliza by Timeless Chic a fantastic halter neck tea length wedding dress. She loves the 1950s era and already knew what style of wedding dress would suit her. This is one from our in house collection of tea length wedding dresses.
Bespoke Wedding Dress
Carla and Kristian’s wedding over on Instagram, we couldn’t wait to share. The couple had a relaxed weekend wedding extravaganza in beautiful Looe, Cornwall. Carla came to us to find her perfect wedding dress and she created a totally bespoke tea length wedding dress.
Carla chose the stunning Rosie by True Bride which is a tea length wedding dress and had it custom made into a longer gown (we don’t stock it in a longer length).
