Getting Married – 6 Months to Go…

With six months to go, it should start to feel real as your planning ramps up a gear. There are lots of small jobs that can keep you busy. By now you’ve already ordered your beautiful tea length wedding dress. Keeping ahead when it comes to planning means you’ll be prepared and won’t lose sight of why you are doing all this planning. We’ve put together some top tips on planning your wedding with 6 months to go.

Pick your invites and stationary

Getting your stationary for the wedding sorted now will allow you to send out the invites with enough time. Usually invitations are sent out 6 to 8 weeks before the wedding. This gives people time to get themselves sorted.

Plan your honeymoon

Make sure your passports are in date and start researching or booking any excursions you may want to go on. This gives you something to focus on when the wedding is over.

Plan your guest list

Sit down and go through your guest lists to make sure you’ve got everyone and you know who to send the invites to (correct names and addresses). Have a little think about table plans and place settings but you don’t have to have these tied down at this stage.
